The Air Tailwind 79 Be True released during 2019's Pride Month with a colorful rendition that brings awareness to LGBTQIA+ community and the rainbow flag created by artist Gilbert Baker. Done in mostly white, the retro-looking pair features a see-through mesh with light grey suede overlays, black Swoosh, and light pink tongue. With the same rainbow stripes on the heel that decorate the Pride Flag, this shoe and all the shoes in the Be True collection are inspired by the eight colored stripes that are a positive symbol to unite gay, lesbian, and transgender people.
